Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress, best known for playing Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom", has gained some fame. Calvano was born in California and initially was interested in gymnastics. She later chose to become an actor. Her screen debut was in an episode in 2010 of CBS's 'NCIS'. The big screen debut came a year later with the biographical crime-drama film 'J Edgar'. In the ensuing years, she has been recognized among the most promising young actors within the field today. As a result of her appearance in "NCIS," she was awarded a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series with a Guest Actor Actress 11-15 in 2011. The actress was also nominated 2013 for a Young Artist Award, this time for her appearance as a guest star in the comedy series of Disney XD "Kickin' It". Calvano appeared in a number series of the show "Mom" in the fourth season. She was a main character in the first three seasons of the show. She was awarded the Gracie Allen Award in 2015 for Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star due to her performance in the show 'Mom'.
